Toolkits for alliance managers

Alliance experts has developed a number of toolkits for the different phases in an alliance. These toolkits aim to provide the alliance manager, partner manager or other members of the management team with the knowledge and means to work towards successful collaborations.

The toolkits consist of a fixed number of day parts for advice and guidance by the professionals of Alliance experts, combined with formats, models and the use of specific methods. The toolkits require a limited investment, and once acquired any toolkit can also be used independently.

Our goal is to professionalise your organisation. We will help you and/or your staff to start and manage collaborations more effectively. We actively transfer our knowledge and experience. In this way you can also regard the toolkits as on-the-job training resources.

Executive Workshop
(pdf)
We provide a clear explanation on executive level of the most important aspects of alliances and guide you in the evaluation of existing collaborations. On the basis of a number of interviews a connection is made between alliances and the strategy and objectives of your company.

Kick Off Toolkit and training
(pdf)
The contract has been signed, and suddenly a large group of employees from both sides need to start working together. In one or two meetings we organise the process of becoming acquainted with the new partner, helping to clarify cultural differences and guiding the group towards operational agreements.

Cross-cultural (alliance) management toolkit
(pdf)
This toolkit offers you practical tools for dealing with cultural differences by developing self awareness of your communication style and creating more mutual understanding with your business partners. It consists of an initial analysis followed by three workshops.

Partner Selection Toolkit (pdf)
In three workshops we will help you to make a well researched choice for selecting an alliance partner. First we determine selection criteria, then we offer techniques to develop a shortlist and in the third workshop we support you in making a final choice.

Toolkit business models and contractual arrangements (pdf)
When you have selected a partner, arrangements need to be made, for example about the division of costs and revenues. Alliance experts knows all business models and can guide you quickly towards principles for a contractual agreement.

Periodical no-stress test (pdf)
Frequent evaluation of the collaboration helps to avoid unexpected occurrences or deteriorating results, for example. Periodically, we ask the opinion of key players from both sides and report the comfort levels within the collaboration.

Legal Check (pdf)
Are you aware of all the implications of your collaboration agreements? The legal check supports your company in acquiring or expanding insight, for example, when you are considering a merger or acquisition. We further indicate any major risks and unfavourable conditions.

Toolkit conflict resolution (pdf)
The collaboration is not proceeding as you envisioned, and you might start to worry. Where have things gone wrong? We will analyse the situation and assign the proper specialist to support you with your market approach, the operational arrangements, the interpersonal relationships, or legal agreements.
