Introduction
You have found an alliance partner and have worked out a contract together. Now it's up to the executives and the employees to turn this into a success. Certainly if objectives need to be achieved within a short term, it is important to not let any tensions go unspoken for too long. At the same time, everyone is eager to keep the relationship going and to not turn every little hitch into a complaint.

Goal and result
The periodic no-stress test measures whether the collaboration is still proceeding to both parties' satisfaction. The test not only takes in 'consequential' indicators such as financial result, but also predictive indicators: are consultations proceeding well, are agreements being fulfilled, is there trust between the parties? Changes to strategic objectives are also examined. You will gain a good picture of the collaboration on a regular basis, allowing you to intervene in time if anything threatens to derail.

Methods
The test has been developed by Alliance experts on the basis of various studies into the success factors of alliances. These factors have been categorised and are regularly adjusted on the basis of new insights. The test contains a number of cross-checks to enhance its reliability. By using categories, it is possible to draw conclusions quickly.

 

Procedure
We would preferably start with an interview with the alliance managers on both sides to get a good picture of the collaboration. We then use the input of these interviews to adapt the test, if necessary. We will in principle perform six measurements with ten respondents, five on each side, spread across executive management, alliance managers and key personnel. These measurements will be scheduled in consultation, and the number of respondents may vary.

The test differs per organisation level. At executive level we shall not examine a number of operational aspects, while at employee level we will not assess strategic objectives. The respondents will receive a link to the questionnaire by email, and it can be completed on the Internet in 10 minutes. With executive managers we can, on request, go through the questionnaire by telephone at a convenient time.

The test results will be fed back to the collaboration partners in anonymised form. We shall indicate what areas require closer attention. The feedback is provided in the form of a transparent report consisting of a few pages.

Price
The price for the intake, compilation of the questionnaire, six measurements and reports, on the basis of 10 respondents, is SGD 5000, VAT exclusive.
